They met... they married

I was cruising around the Rogers Mall and saw a really nice cafe style (croch rocket) motorcycle so I pull in to talk with my friends who were standing around, complimented the bike and met the owner very briefly. A few days later I stopped to talk to the same friends and made fun of an El Camino, turned out to be the same owner and he loved that thing... OOPS! So a few days after that, I'm driving along and a guy on a motorcycle is cruising the Mall and waved, so of course I had to chase him down to see just who it was, stopped & talked again briefly. That Saturday I stopped by the Honda shop to ask him out, this worked out just fine. Four years later, we got married & today is our 17th wedding anniversary! Here we are all these years, two boys, gray hairs & wrinkles later :-)

SU! & CTMH COLORS

As ya'll know I belong to Picture Perfect Creations Design Team. PPC uses SU! colors as most of the other DT members are SU! Consultants. As a former CTMH consultant, I do not have SU! colors but CTMH ones. Finally today I'd had enough of guessing on each weekly assignment which color to uses. I have now gone thru the new 2010 SU! Color Chart & compared it to the CTMH Color Chart. Below is what I've come up with.
Some colors are not dead on, I wouldn't expcet them to be since they are from two different companies. I think they are close enough. If you see one that goes better for another, please let me know and I'll make adjustments. The only one that really bothers me is "Not Quite Navy" & "Twilight" they are pretty different but I don't have a color to match "Not Quite Navy"

Fab Fabric Flowers Friday

I'm so in love with these fabric flowers that I keep teaching people how to make them.... EASY STUFF! If you've caught my black & white card previous or on Crop Chocolate, What a Beautiful Mess is where to find the tutorial. Lisa makes them with organza, but I've found that ANY FABRIC looks Fantastic. So go, GO check out her tutorial and let me know how you do & if you have any questions at all.
My ONE tip... leave the centers off until you know what you're going to use the flower on so you can make it coordinate with your page/pics
